To our community- THANK YOU! The community's support by passing the VATRE and Capital Improvement Bond was critical to the continued success and strive for positive learning environments and experiences for our children. We did it, and we are absolutely not done yet! But thanks to your support in passing the abovementioned bonds, the official CU4BS PAC that was formed has completed its mission. And as such, we have formerly disbanded the Citizens Uniting 4 Brenham Schools (CU4BS). We will come back together in the future when we are ready to present our next bond initiative for BISD!
I am so proud of the positivity that has been shown for our educators. And, I will ask that we all continue to shout the positives from the roof tops! Negativity spreads and festers- and no one has time or energy for that! The only way for us to continue to grow and foster positive learning environments for our children is by focusing on the positives! We use it in schools all the time: Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. It is the theory that "loud and negative" behaviors are searching for attention, so give the attention to the behaviors that you are wanting to continue!
All bond updates can be found in a variety of places: the Brenham ISD school website; ; and certainly at Clay Gillentine, Superintendent - Brenham ISD . You can also come to the board meetings each month where there will be an update provided.
Until it is time for CU4BS to reform, we will be stopping all social media communications and email correspondence. You are welcome to contact any of us personally, and we will continue to share information on our personal spaces. However legally all communication under CU4BS must cease at this time.
Thank you!
Until we are needed again!
