Harper has Reno on her mind! Lots of things tucked in bottom holes and lots of “I hope this doesn’t blow coat before” and “I hope this one finishes in time” happening already lol. Going through rabbits tonight and this one caught my eye, as soon as she got her out, I was like I need a picture of her lol. This pretty little lynx doe will hopefully have a finished coat for convention and she will be on her sales list! If you are looking for a lynx, this doe is pretty! We won’t be posting that until October because they need all the time to grow but she’s very excited about the group she has coming up!

Be sure to check out The Kentucky State auction below. Harper has donated a pretty otter doe who has a few legs on her in limited showing. She is just a little past her prime right now. She’s out of one of Harper’s best producing crosses and she can come bred. Photos of her current and show prime. We also donated a brand new hanging cage. Can come as a 4 or 5 hole cage. So can be used for does or grow outs!

Harper is excited to be able to offer Gootee Family Farms Rhea into the Ky State Auction.

Gootee Family Farms Rhea is an Otter Sr. Doe. This is a beautifully built doe, ready to make an impact in your barn. This doe is past her show prime, but she picked up some BOBs/BOS in her limited show career. She is deep and wide and carries a lovely coat of fur when she is not molting. I am posting current pictures and pictures of her show prime. Her Dam is multiple BIS winning Gootee Family Farms Mavis and her Sire is ARS Sour Patch (1st place Otter Jr. Buck 2023 Nationals). She has transport to Reno or local pickup and can come bred.

We had a busy but fun weekend at The Kentucky State Convention. This was my first state convention as acting president and I felt like we put on a great, well ran show! We are a small group but we all worked together, including the kids! Harper competed in royalty and won the KY State Princess title, she has picked up on her studying and it payed off this show. She got to try judging and it was only her first time judging cavies and she got a 94/100 and we were so proud of her!

In Silvers GFF Big swept all 4 shows with BOBs and GFF Dido won 2/4 BOBs! We are happy with how the rabbits did this late in the heat!

We are home from The Kentucky State Youth Benefit Show today! Harper had a great day on the tables and the boys had the best time playing with friends. Hayden took a nap with Cathy, Hudson played with Bryleigh all day, and Harper had a migraine after lunch and was not feeling her best. She finally got to falling better and we are all so thankful!

Harper has decided to offer up Gootee Family Farms Boog. He was 3rd broken jr buck at Nationals. Super nice little buck, just totally overwhelmed with bucks right now. He will be in Somerset this weekend.

Home from a fun day at the Capital City shows in Frankfort today! Both Harper’s Mini Rex and our Silvers had a great day on the tables! Hudson is showing with us in open and loves getting to play with his rabbit at the show. While his name is Nelly, Hudson lovingly refers to him as Bunny.

Can’t let this go without a huge thank you to Harper’s bestie Allyse for sending her Gorgina home at nationals. I talked with Allyse and told her what Harper was looking to improve this breeding season and as always she over delivers ❤️. She’s a piece for her ever evolving puzzle and we are so grateful to Allyse for loving our girl and helping her so much!
