As Brandon High School begins a new school year, we recently sat down with Principal Jacob Veenstra to talk about his first months on campus, what has impressed him most about Brandon, the growing role of artificial intelligence in education, and the kind of legacy he hopes to leave behind.
Veenstra said the people inside Brandon High School have made his transition possible — from the office staff and administrative team to the teachers and students who bring the building to life each day. He also shared his thoughts on student adaptability, responsible use of AI, and the tremendous support Brandon High receives from the community.
