I am so proud of my almost 3rd graders. Through this economics unit they were producers, consumers, store owners, and advertisers. Great job!!

We had a great time at the Bradenton Marauders game today even though it was as hot as can be! Congratulations to these kiddos who have received all S's this year. Keep up the great work:)

Our economics unit is in full swing. We are busy learning about quality goods made by producers that will be bought by consumers. They even have me as the "inspector" who has to be sure each good is being produced for quality not quantity. The unit will end with each team creating a store and advertisement to sell their products. Keep checking back for more great pics of you kiddos learning the basics of our economy.

We had such a great day at the Embracing Our Differences art exhibit followed by Mote Marine! We made memories today and lifelong learners!! Plus, a special thanks to David Cadena for helping me today!!

Reminder that there is no school on Monday in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Take a few minutes to ask your kids what we have learned about MLK so far and share any additional things you know. The kids have really enjoyed learning about all the amazing things MLK did with just his words!

Today was a great beginning to our 1st group science project. We are researching habitats and learning about plants and animals that live in each one. Way to go scientists!!
