Hello 6th grade Otters!!

We are so excited to announce that we will be establishing our middle school sports with you!

Currently, we are gauging interest in our golf team. There will be room for both boys and girls to participate. If you are interested, please fill out the form by clicking the link below or scanning the QR code.

Please know that this is just to gauge interest. If we have enough students interested, we will reach out to provide information about tryouts.

If golf is not your thing, keep your eyes out for Cross Country and Track tryouts that will be coming up very soon. We are also hoping to get Tennis going in the spring.

As we add grade levels in the next couple of years, we will be able to add other sports as well.

We are looking forward to beginning this adventure with you!

Rain expected for dismissal. If it is severe, we will hold bikers WITHOUT A PARENT until it is cleared up. All car line and bus riders will dismiss as normal. If you would like to change to car line, please update the PikMyKid app before 2:45!!!

Dismissal Update for Lake Manatee:
PreK-5th grade Bikers/Walkers will be starting dismissal at 3:05PM. If you meet your child at a bike rack, please come a few minutes earlier. 6th grade Bikers/Walkers will dismiss at 3:12PM. Our Car Rider Line will start between 3:15PM and 3:20PM, once all students are in the cafeteria. More info will be emailed this weekend. Thank you for your patience as we continue to fine tune our procedures as we continue to add more students to enrollment.

Good Morning and Happy Wednesday! Just got word that we still do not have phones or Internet. Crews are working to repair and pull new fiber optic cable to allow our school to have access again. This is not a school district issue. This was because of work being done somewhere in the area of Lakewood Ranch. Until we are back up and running, we will utilize Facebook to broadcast messages and we are doing our best to make connection to focus to send out any information that you may need. We will not be able to receive phone calls. Here we go! Let’s have a great Wednesday .

Car rider parents…. If you don’t have a car tag yet…..Please create a temporary car tag with your PikMyKid number and place it in your windshield. Official tags will be handed out soon, so in the meantime, please make one to help with dismissal. Thank you!!

Apparently, there has been a fiber cut somewhere in the county. Our school and Myakka are now without phones or internet and it could be some time before it’s repaired. Just an FYI.
