LMK8 has two 6-hour cafeteria positions available for applications with a start date of August when students return. We’re excited to announce a new partnership with a local company for all Lake Manatee apparel! Ohana Embroidery will be the place to get all your Otter swag! T-shirts, hoodies, hats, etc will all be available soon. The best part is they are a local business with ties to the school district. They already serve a number of local schools and we’re excited to have them be our supplier. We will have an online store soon to begin orders for Back to School. And…. the store never closes. Yesterday our 5th graders got to spend their last day of elementary school at the most magical place on earth!

What an incredible year it has been at Lake Manatee K-8! 🩵🦦💙

Today we celebrate the end of our FIRST official school year — a year filled with new beginnings, big milestones, unforgettable memories, and so much growth. From the very first day we opened our doors, our students, staff, and families helped create something truly special.

This year we built more than a school… we built a community. We learned together, led together, celebrated together, and showed what it means to be Lake Manatee strong.

Thank you to our amazing teachers and staff for your endless dedication, to our families for your support and partnership, and to our students for bringing joy, energy, and pride to our campus every single day.
