I FINALLY HAD TIME TO GET THESE PHOTOS OF JPI CONSTRUCTION AND GRAND OPENING IN 1999.

Today is Johnson PhotoImaging's 25th anniversary. We have had an amazing story. Started it up and then 4 ½ months later I retired from my 25 year general and pediatric surgery practice in Bradenton. We have a continually progressing store with one of the largest inventories in Florida, a great graphic arts department, a tremendous photo education department, and our very knowledgeable sales staff to make sure you get the products you are looking for. Thanks too all of our customers who have made it possible. I hope to find some of our original opening photos to post later today.

I hope everyone enjoys this day labor day weekend. Stay safe and take lots of great photos.

Tomorrow is Firmware Friday, get your cameras and lenses updated and ready for an exciting weekend. Mike Amico from OM System will be leading an outing at the Venice Audubon Rookery at 7am. JPI had the pleasure of shooting on the set of Dry Creek. Recently the short film "Killer Miller" was shot there. It's fun seeing those same sets in the movie seen in a different light. The movie was entered into the Alder International Short Film Festival. You can see the film at the link below for free for a short time.
