A good friend and mentor of mine, Pete Caruso, told me 15 years ago, “KISS, Keep it simple stupid.” I have ignored his advice countless times- but lessons will be repeated until they are learned and so it keeps coming back to that. I strive for simplicity, honesty and upholding the value of every person and fish that makes this business go. I’m going to keep making mistakes, just not the same ones, and keep getting better for it.
