It has been an exciting last few days in the lab as we welcome our new Western Hognose hatchlings!!! It was the female’s first year laying a fertile clutch and we got 12 little ones out of it! No one has played dead yet but a couple certainly have little attitudes.

BGSU graduate Katie Herzog completed her honors project on the Herpetarium and its impact on the students who volunteer in it. Overall her study showed that the lab created a sense of community between the volunteers and prepared them for future career or college goals. Thanks Katie!!
