Come on down to the Bowdoinham Farmers' Market Saturday 8:30-12:00 for a cornucopia of locally grown, baked and crafted goodies! We're ready to supply your holiday weekend plans and then we're off next weekend for Celebrate Bowdoinham!

Attention all zucchini pilots: GIANT ZUCCHINI RACERS! (free!)
They're big, they're green. Are they fast? That's up to the pilot. Take them home, put wheels on em, and race them next weekend at Celebrate Bowdoinham.

Welcome Farthest Field Farm for their last Bowdoinham market of the season. Stock up on stellar hot sauces and bulk paste tomatoes. They'll have greens galore, beautiful eggplants, gorgeous heirloom and cherry tomatoes, bulk paste tomatoes for all your canning needs, husk cherries to snack on, and last chance for frozen ginger and turmeric, and all their lovely hot sauces, salsas and tomato sauces. Maggie's Farm at Mulberry Creek will have the usual spread of bagels and bread, goat cheese, and ground mutton and stew/kabob meat! They're taking next week off researching whether the chicken or egg comes first.

Rewilding farm will be back with mullein tincture!

Beany’s Biscuits & Bakery has fresh biscuits and a few fall and spooky bandana prints for this weekend!

Field Notes will be there with gomphrena garlands, dried bouquets, and sweet annie wreaths.

Blue Bell Farm Maine will have plenty of ratatouille makings, (eggplant, zukes, paste tomatoes) beets with lovely greens on top, sweet red Carmen peppers, and fresh tulsi. Loads of lettuce too.

Pleasant Pond Orchard will have scones (both ginger and black pepper, walnut & Gruyere), cookies (both peanut butter and chocolate chip), cheddar scallion biscuits, orange almond cake and seasonal galettes (Mapple = apple + maple). Speaking of Maple...Maine Maple Products Inc. is coming your way - available in pints and quarts. Imagine...the possibilities!

Big doings in the 'ham this weekend with Le Tour de Bowdoinham to benefit the Bowdoinham Food Pantry! It starts and ends right at the market, so cheer on all the intrepid bikers pushing pedals around town for a great cause. (and keep an extra eye out on the road while driving too eh?) Tasty snacks, beautiful flowers, and hand forged creations can be found at the market whether you're biking or not! At the park you'll find:

Pleasant Pond Orchard! PPO looks forward to seeing familiar faces and new ones, too. They'll have scones, cookies, orange almond cake and seasonal galettes for you. Plus: COFFEE- Big Barn smooth roast. (hooray!)
