Today, EDUC 333: Multicultural Classroom had the opportunity to hear from Mr. Billy and Mrs. Malissa Kaufman of Kankakee Youth for Christ’s City Life and Pastor Ken and Mrs. Esther Tueck of Kankakee’s Life Compass Church. They shared their experiences and insights on what it means to live, serve, and build relationships within a diverse community. Such a meaningful conversation for our future educators! ❤️

Math + games + a little friendly competition! 🎲➕📚

Today, students in Methods for Early & Elementary Math practiced using standards-aligned small-group math games to connect mathematical concepts to concrete and pictorial representations. They were learning, collaborating, and having fun—and yes, things got a little competitive at times! 😉
