David Delaney Rolfing My speciality is working with singers and performing artists. Speech and singing happen in the mouth, not in the throat.

I worked with these professionals in New York City for more than 20 years because I am a singer and have trained and Rolfed singers to uncover their authentic voices. Rolfing provides the singer with access to the small, intrinsic muscles or muscles of respiration that are the key to natural and powerful singing. Singing demands an ability to use the body very flexibly in order to never resort to using force and it has nothing to do with an tension in the throat. Singing at its best happens in a completely relaxed manner, using the least amount of breath and getting the most resonance and power. My expertise opens up the voice in ways that nothing else can.
