My company, Empathy Admissions, currently has openings available to begin work with your family as early as mid-June for the 2025 application season.

The Senior Empathy package provides 15 (fifteen) sessions of comprehensive assistance, including college exploration, resume building, essay planning/writing, and application completion/submission. If your student already has a college list, then a nine-session package is also available.

Parents and Supporters of 11th Graders,

Many high school counseling offices in the U.S. offer the “first” official college planning meeting in January or February of junior year.

This summer, however, I spoke with a few parents about how waiting until second semester for the dissemination of this knowledge causes more anxiety. The “not knowing” is challenging.

My company, Empathy Admissions, currently has openings available to begin work with you as early as October or November for the 2025 application season. The Junior Empathy package provides 15 (fifteen) sessions of comprehensive assistance, including college exploration, resume building, essay planning/writing, and application completion/submission.

If you are a supportive adult who has or knows an 11th grader, I would love to speak to you about their desire to attend the college of their choice and what preparations they need to get there.

Between now and your early January deadlines, I am available for essay review. I review completed drafts for Topic Relevance and Subject Matter, as well as provide General Proofreading, Content Suggestions, 48-hour Timely Return, and Personal Encouragement and Celebration.

Generally, for the Essay Empathy review package, I charge $75-140 per hour.

For more in-depth planning, review, and support, the Essay Empathy PLUS package starts at $650. I also offer a pay-what-you-are-able rate as well for either option.

Get started on your path to college at Empathy Admissions

I am grateful to each of my 12th graders (and their families) for inviting me and Empathy Admissions to support them on their college admissions journey!

Despite their feeling that they would not have been able to do this without me, THEY overcame logistical challenges, leaned into occasional discomfort in the writing process, and produced thoughtful essays and applications that grabbed attention! (Plus, they already had 16 years of life experience to fuel their journey!)

BERKELEY!

After yesterday's exciting admissions news from Stanford, TWO of my Empathy Admissions students earned admission to University of California at Berkeley! YES!

Each student had to write four different essays to showcase their personal and intellectual qualities. It was a pleasure guiding them through multiple drafts before they reached their final versions.

Whether or not they choose to matriculate at UC Berkeley, I am thrilled they sought out Empathy Admissions to support their journey.
