Im learning from myself.
I look at myself here and see a beautiful person. I did not think of myself that way at the time. I wish women could see their own beauty and cherish it, and be humble enough to appreciate and have gratitude for oursleves.
I have been struggling with weight gain menopause and joint pain and muscle fatigue and it goes on and on. Today I took my own class and kicked my own ass. Im hoping
to keep doing this and turn myself back around to
myself.
Kitchen Ballet All From First Here is a great class for all levels. Everything from first position. This allows for you to check in with your alignment, tracking, placement. This is gr...
I am also a musician as well as a dancer and teacher. Another part of living in Fort Wayne that I love is being able to play in an orchestra all year! The PFW community and student orchestra has been getting better and bigger every year. The conductor, Dr. Kevin McMahon excels at coaching us in a kind yet very professional way to bring out the best in everyone one of us. Like Albert Einstein, I play second violin. I love playing second violin because we get to partner with all different instruments and through lines in the back ground. We have grown and learned so much! AND my brother is playing this year too, so that is a plus!

As part of the pointe and variations class I am teaching, we are exploring the Dying Swan. This is a really important aspect of ballet history as it also relates to Anna Pavlovas actual death, this was the last piece she performed.

It's Fall and time for cosy ballet classes. I am teaching at the Fort Wayne Dance Collective on Tuesdays - Continuing Ballet from 6:15-7.45 and Pointe and Variations from 7.45-8.30!
The Continuing Ballet class is a great class for all levels beyond absolute beginner. I am also very excited about our Pointe and Variations afterwards, which can be done on pointe or on flat.
Register at https://fwdc.org/fall-2025/ for their fall classes!
I am also teaching my own open classes twice a week, at the Fort Wayne Dance Collective on Thursday mornings at 10am, and Saturdays at 3.
For those who are wishing for zoom options, I am working towards making this available!
