It has come to my attention that a text message against Han Tran has been sent.

Let me be very clear: I have no knowledge of who sent it.
This message was not sent by me or the Friends of Myriam campaign.

As I said before, "I will not be part of attacking politics or a negative campaign. I will not respond to attack politics. I should not be held responsible for the actions of others. I condemn threats and violence of any type towards any person or race. I request that anybody supporting my campaign highlights my priorities that focus on academics, safety and student-centered accountability.”

Please support my campaign by focusing on what is best for the future of our children and NSD.

As we tell our children, social media is a powerful means of communication but we must be careful how we use it.

So, I had decided to stay away from the recent posts that are not related to benefiting our students, but given a direct reach for comments, I will share my position in the attached letter.

I want to remind all of us that once the elections are set and done, we must continue to work together for the better of our district; the elections are not the end goal but the pressing work for excellent education for ALL our students is.

For the 2023-24 school year, the District has made some revisions to the existing World Language Competency Test. This is a great program offered by our District.
