Today, Theta Delta Chi remembers and honors the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the United States. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten. As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, we reflect with gratitude on those who gave everything for the freedoms we enjoy every day. In the Bonds, forever grateful.

The Grand Lodge is looking to fill the position of Charge Consultant with a potential start date of July 1, 2026. The Charge Consultant is a full time position who travels on behalf of the Grand Lodge to carry out the Record of Visitation (ROV). The 179th Convention registration is now open at tdxconvention.org. This year’s Virtual Convention will take place July 30 through August 1 and is accessible to all brothers. The condensed schedule will include official business, educational programming through the Minerva Sessions, and and culminate with celebrating our scholarship and awards winners. Regular Registration is free and provides access to all virtual events.

Delta Triton (Northeastern University) group poses at the 147th Convention, 1994. The Charge was active from 1990 to 2005. The Charge had a brief existence on the Northeastern University campus, but one distinguished by contributions from several alumni to the International Fraternity, both as volunteers and as staff at the Central Fraternity Office. The Charge has provided two Abel Beach Interns, a Systems Administrator, a Field Secretary/Charge Consultant, an Executive Director, Grand Lodge officers, and Educational Foundation Board members.

A memorable golf outing at Adena Golf & Country Club with Executive Director Brian Bertges, Sigma Triton ’00; Charge Consultant Nick Carter, Tau Triton ’24; and Larry Coates, Gamma Deuteron ’78, alongside his brother-in-law Bruce. It was great to renew in union our social joys.

The photograph of the Columbia University Basketball team was published in 1905 in The Shield magazine. Three brothers are present. It was included with the article “A Triumph In Basketball.” Over a two-year period, the team’s record was 35-2, and it collectively outscored opponents 948-571.

The Grand Lodge is Theta Delta Chi’s governing board. It is composed of seven (7) members that meet monthly to discuss the organization’s health, conduct business, and set the direction of the Fraternity. The Grand Lodge has four positions up for election at the 179th Virtual Convention this July and August. Both Undergraduate Member at Large positions will be elected. The positions have one-year terms. Two (2) graduate positions will be elected for two-year terms: Graduate Treasurer and Executive Member. The Educational Foundation annually grants scholarships. This year’s scholarships will be announced at the virtual Convention this upcoming summer. These are excellent opportunities to help fund your tuition costs. Applications can be submitted now until June 15th.
