At sea onboard Chinook in 2019. Looking forward to getting back!
Good Morning All,
It has always been my plan to spend my life on the water. TurnKey Crew helped me follow that dream in a myriad of ways and it has allowed me to me incredible people all over the world. I've learned an enormous amount in the three years with TurnKey Crew and it has led me to move on to the next adventure. I have been accepted for Officer Candidate School for the US Navy as a Pilot. This starts April 2nd in Newport and after that it will be Flight School for two years. I hope to cross paths again and enjoy your company down the road. In the meantime, cruise to the far off places that only sailors can find.
Fair winds and following seas,
Evan Gregory

It is 2017! The year of the 35th America's Cup in Bermuda! Are you sailing down? Watching boats from your boat certainly sounds ideal! If you will be there in June, send us a message, maybe we can grab a beer at the Swizzle Inn (they come in 20oz there).

Evan of TurnKey Crew has returned to Boston after completing his second Trans-Atlantic passage with Unconditional for the 2016 ARC+. It was a 15.5 day passage due to slower winds than expected. Everyone arrived safe and the boat was in good shape though! We were able to see The Canaries, Cape Verde, and St. Lucia this time around. It is TurnKey Crew's first venture to the Caribbean and it is definitely a place we hope to return to. In January the Oyster World Rally starts, so we had the extra pleasure of meeting many other Oyster owners and crews. Hopefully we get to see many of them again. Expect some photos in the next week or so!
TurnKey Crew has once again joined Unconditonal, an Oyster 49, for another Trans-Atlantic Passage. This time it will be in the ARC+ Rally that will take us from Gran Canaria to Cape Verde and then on to St. Lucia. The ARC+ fleet will be about 75 boats and there will be about 27 Oysters between ARC+ and the ARC! Evan is thrilled at the opportunity to get a second TransAt under his belt and continue to hone and improve his offshore skills. Stay tuned for pictures from the passage.
Recently TurnKey Crew sailed with the Ocean Cruising Club's Maine Rally. Meeting people from all over the world who have sailed all over the world is always delightful. Cruising around Penobscot Bay for a week was a wonderful way to escape the summer heat. The shoreline is beautiful and offers a myriad of quiet anchorages for cruisers. Dodging lobster pots was a full time task, but it means there are multitudes of lobster men willing to sell you the freshest catch. Cruising the Maine coast is definitely something anyone in the area should do.
