The Arabic Cluster expanded their culinary prowess while stretching their language skills at Hummus Night 2019. Besides making hummus from scratch, they also brewed and sipped authentic Moroccan-style mint tea.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the inaugural Global House Culture Fair on Monday night. It was a great time! We danced samba, brushed up on our geography, discovered lots of new music and films, practiced our Japanese calligraphy skills, and much more. Which booth was your favorite?

Join us in the Global House Lounge at 4:30-6pm on Thursday, Oct. 11 for a presentation on wedding customs in Arabic-speaking countries.

Please join us on Tuesday, October 16 for a music event organized by Professor Litvin: a concert of contemporary classical music by Syrian composers, performed by two Syrian musicians based in Europe, violinist Ashraf Kateb and pianist Hamsa Al-Wadi Juris.
It is part of a five-campus tour for these artists; they will be in the US Oct 12-22 and will perform at Yale, BU, Brown, Tufts, and Connecticut College.
