I built a game in Python.

I’ve been working on a programming project called Dark Kingdom, a text-based RPG where you choose your character, fight monsters, upgrade your gear, explore the castle, and eventually face the Dark King.

I originally built the game in Python, then converted it into JavaScript, HTML, and CSS so I could get it running directly on my website.

The game includes three character classes, turn-based combat, special attacks, critical hits, potions, random enemies, a branching path through the castle, a merchant system, upgrades, and a final boss battle.

It’s been a fun project for practicing programming and figuring out how to take something from a Python program and turn it into an actual playable web experience.

Just a little Java project for class.

Paint needed: 2.142857142857143 gallons
Cans needed: 3.0 cans

Java really said: “You need 2.142857 gallons. Figure out the rest yourself.” 😂

I’m basically a software engineer now. I’m gonna now use this calculation every time I go to Home Depot.

Built my first Python security project.

A password strength scanner that checks:

• Password length
• Uppercase letters
• Lowercase letters
• Numbers
• Special characters

It gives a security rating and score based on the results.

Small projects like this are helping me build my programming skills one step at a time.

August is around the corner, and I’m looking for my next opportunity.

I’m available for full-time remote roles and freelance/contract projects.

I love bringing ideas to life through motion design, animation, VFX, and sound design. If your team needs engaging visuals that make an impact, I’d love to connect.

Built a Python Personality Scanner 🤖🧠

A beginner project that uses Python to “analyze” your personality based on your answers.

Made with if/elif, lists, random, and time.sleep() to create a fake AI experience.

I made a Python “mind reader” just for fun! 🐍 It scans your thoughts, analyzes the possibilities, and makes a prediction 🤖 Is it real AI or just some clever coding tricks? 😂 What should I build next?

I built a funny little Python bot that actually talks back 🤖. I added a memory feature so it can remember things from the conversation and bring them up later. Just a fun coding project experimenting with scripts, responses, and giving a program a little personality. Coding isn’t always about solving problems — sometimes it’s about creating something fun.

🎮 Play my Game of Thrones-inspired Python text adventure:

https://text-game–tyler-jordan.replit.app/console/

I’m excited to share one of my favorite projects from my Software Engineering journey!

This Game of Thrones-inspired text-based adventure game was my final project from my second term at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU). Now that I’m currently in Term 4, it’s been great looking back at this project and seeing how much I’ve learned since creating it.

This is the original console version, running online so anyone can play it directly from their browser.

Building this project helped me strengthen my skills in:
• Python programming
• Game logic and decision-making
• Functions and program structure
• User input handling
• Problem-solving and debugging

If you’re a Game of Thrones fan or enjoy classic text-based adventures, give it a try and let me know what you think!
