It all began back in 2008 when we reached out to neighbors as part of a planning process for the Fairmount Greenway.

General information
Our project goals include:
Tot Lot- This space will provide a safe place where care providers can bring small children to develop their motor skills and have fun.
Learning Garden- With an increase in school and after-school programs focused on teaching our children healthy eating habits, this space will provide an outdoor classroom where children will be able to grow vegetables and apply knowledge.
Production Garden- With limited healthy food options in our community, this space will allow us to grow vegetables that will be made available to locals residents at an affordable cost while building skills and employing local youth.
Learning Space- Through our planning and other community work, we have witnessed the wealth of skills that our local residents possess. A permanent structure will provide the space neighbors share, teach and learn,
