It is with profound sadness that we mourn the loss of Firefighter Robert Kilduff who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty last night. On behalf of the BPPA-EMS Division, we extend our deepest condolences to the his family, friends, brothers, and sisters at Boston Fire Department & Local 718. We stand united with our public safety family during this difficult time and will never forget his courage, service, and dedication to protecting others.

Once again, members stepped up to assist our healthcare partners during challenging conditions.
24 patients evacuated after fire at Boston Medical Center in Brighton The fire knocked out a generator at 2 a.m. the facility on Cambridge Street, which is the former St. Elizabeth's Hospital.
