The College of Liberal Arts Newsletter for May 2026 features a message to our graduating class of 2026 and a spotlight article on Africana Studies faculty, Sheldon George written by a former student. It also highlights how some of our language students are using Virtual Reality headsets in the classroom. There are blurbs about our retiring faculty who have given countless years toward meeting the learning goals of our students and the university as a whole. Lastly, we spotlight CLA’s very own Jasen Souza who is a tremendous academic advisor in CLA advising, a PhD student, and a gifted photographer!
