One of the greatest strengths of the BUA community is the remarkable work our alumni do: in their professions, in their communities, and in their continued connection to BUA. Each year, the BUA Alumni Council has the privilege of recognizing one such graduate through the BUA Distinguished Alumni Award, and we invite you to help us do that by submitting a nomination.
The Distinguished Alumni Award honors a graduate who exemplifies the core values of BUA: inquiry, knowledge, independence, belonging, and joy. We are especially eager to recognize alumni whose work reflects not only personal or professional achievement, but also a spirit of engagement with BUA, with their communities, or with causes larger than themselves.
If someone from your class (or another class!) comes to mind, whether their impact is local or global, well-known or quietly transformative, we encourage you to submit a nomination. You do not need to write a lot; even a brief description can help us better understand an alum’s contributions. Nominated candidates are not informed unless they are selected, and nominations remain on file for future consideration.
Nominate using the link in our bio.
