🤩🤩🤩 It’s amazing how color can just make everything better! I made these pop of color slides for my class last week and it added some extra fun for us! Starting your day outlining what is ahead can remove threats and distractions that students may have. Best part about these!? They are customizable to any header that you need for any part of your day. In my TPT store😍

Ready for work from home game changer!?!?
This desk is not your ordinary desk. With the touch of a button this desk is converted to a sit down or stand up desk. This adds so much comfort to be able to stand up or sit down while I’m teaching. It’s adds versatility, function, and convenience to my work day. This A 👏🏼GAME 👏🏼CHANGER 👏🏼people!!! Thank you ! You truly have made amazing products that can help teachers through these unprecedented times. 🍎

Happy New Year friends! 2021 is looking bright! Here is a resolution activity I always use with my class! It’s a great reset and reflect . It’s also very engaging for students to doodle and color! My students are not required to share but I find that once students have their thoughts written down they are more likely to share! I hope your kids enjoy this activity as much as mine do! A word that I have used a lot with my students this year. We take a moment for reflection at least once a day. I give them different prompts to think about to self-reflect and it has been a game changer.
As Thanksgiving approaches,🦃 my class will be reflecting on ways that we are thankful and ways that we can give back. I hope you have an opportunity to do the same with your students!🥰 You can find this activity in my TPT store(pdf version &google slides version)!
This year to me personally, Thanksgiving has an entire new meaning! Stay well friends!

I found this in my camera roll and it was dated March 11,2020...One of the last days with my students. They changed the letter board during indoor recess. It was like they left me a message that they knew I was going to need. With all of the uncertainty just remember to stay positive and smile. ❤️

One word .....WOW!
This has been a game changer this week for me. I am teaching summer school virtually and this has changed my entire “zoomroom”environment . I am able to draw with the kids, read them picture books, and engage with STEM activities! This is an affordable document camera for teachers. Not tech savvy? Don’t worry! The set up is crystal clear and if you have any problems the customer service is on point and super responsive! I cannot brag about this document camera enough! @ Boston, Massachusetts

I jumped on the watercolor bookmark train!! I’ve seen these all over Instagram. They are so easy and so fun to make! It made a good end of year gift for my kiddos! A special hand written note on the back makes it exciting for them too!

Count your small victories! Today I tried something new with my students. Instead of individual conferences and going around during our writing block with hand written post it notes, I took the time to make them individual typed out notes. I gave them each a GLOW (something I loved) and a GROW (something to improve). Yes it was time consuming but... yes it was worth it. It gave me time to conference with them in a different way! I wasn’t using my instruction time reading their work and then conferencing. I did this at home on my own leisure time and without a fourth grader lingering over my shoulder!!! How do you give writing feedback to your students? I would love more ideas on this! 💡 tell me down below :)

The New year is here people! I love to have my students reflect on the past year and set goals for their new year! This activity is so great and engaging. We complete this after having a class discussion about how lucky we are to have everything around us. Students who finish early have a chance to share with classmates and this can start discussions that are so meaningful! It is not required that they share if they don’t want to as they can make some personal goals that they may not want shared. Back to school tomorrow! What do you have your students do as the new year starts!? Tell me down below!!! 👇🏼 Link is in my bio to my TPT store 🥳
