Winthrop wrestling returns this spring! We will be running a spring session on Thursdays in Winthrop. Practices begin the week after April vacation, and will take place in the Arthur T Cummings school gymnasium at 40 Hermon St in Winthrop.

This session is open to children in grades K-8 from Winthrop and the surrounding community (we are NOT limited to only Winthrop residents). We will split our group into 2 practice sessions, with the younger wrestlers training from 6:00-7:00 and the older wrestlers 7:00-8:20. The session cost is $115 for the first child, and $50 for each additional sibling. Please contact us for scholarship and financial aid opportunities if needed.

Registration is officially OPEN for our second-ever Springtime Showdown Tournament! The event takes place on Saturday May 16 in East Boston at Excel Academy High School, and is open to wrestlers of all ages. SPRING SESSION! Our high school spring session is only four weeks away. We will begin on Monday April 6 and continue until Monday June 15. These sessions are geared toward a high school competition level.

Boston Girls Early Bird Tournament 12/14/25

This Saturday, we hosted the Battlefront Beginners tournament. It was a chance for our Legion athletes to compete in what was their first-ever official wrestling competition. Youth wrestlers from all of our fall Legion programs: Chelsea, Everett, Winthrop, and Excel Academy represented their teams with pride. We were also joined by a competitive crew of athletes from Beat the Streets Providence. Parents, siblings, and family members cheered on their young athletes and supported their efforts. We are so proud of all our athletes for their growth, commitment, and dedication.
