“Gina Goico, Perla Mabel, and Rixy have individually explored abundance as an aesthetic strategy and political commitment oriented towards healing collective traumas. ‘Communal Medicine: Tending Abundance’ brings their works into conversation to consider how their strategies of somatic engagement, world-building, and storytelling facilitate an expansive model of community care”

I’m honored to share finals of my recent mural “Rita’s Spotlight” , for ‘s Transformative Public Art Program. 🌸

Rita Hester’s legacy has warmed many beloved communities. Because of former AIR proposing this project, were we able to paint her glamorous impact, & speak on the transphobic x racist injustices that took her life in Allston, MA 1998. A moment that sparked the observance of Transgender Day of Remembrance, worldwide.

Thank you to Rita’s family + loved ones for blessing the production.
To for the grand support in our growth.
& ‘s facilitations throughout.

I am so honored to invite y’all to my next solo exhibition “Enter the Cúcala” with 🩸opening April 7th, 5 - 8pm, featuring the sounds of .

I’ll be introducing my tropic world of Cúcala, by first spotlighting some of its’ flexible femme figurations - to enter their confines & experience the fluorescent realizations born through Machismentos’ toxic disruptions.
