I don’t want strength training. I just want to tone up and lean out.”
—women are still saying this in 2026… 👀
And honestly? I get it.
A lot of women want low-impact workouts because they’re trying to protect their bodies, not break them. They don’t want to aggravate old injuries, they’re over jumping everywhere, and after having kids, mainstream strength training often just doesn’t feel the same. (I can absolutely attest to that.)
What often gets missed in the search for “low-impact toning workouts” is this:
“Toning” isn’t a style of workout.
It’s a result.
And that result comes from:
1️⃣ Having muscle
2️⃣ Reducing body fat enough for it to show
To build or maintain muscle?
Yes, you do need strength training.
The good news is that strength training can absolutely be low impact, joint-friendly, and adapted to your body. With the right programming, it can even work alongside barre or Pilates, not replace them.
If you want to lean out without guessing—or feeling like you have to crush yourself to get there, DM “TONE.” 💬
I’m all about using this time of year to regroup on your health and fitness goals and the habits that will get you there.
There IS a fresh start feeling and momentum that comes in January. Use it to your advantage!
But try to let go of the need to 1) do it ALL right away, and 2) do it all completely differently.
There’s likely a LOT of things you’re already doing pretty darn well for your fitness that simply need a little tweaking here and there.
You don’t have to overhaul everything, and you’re not “behind” if you didn’t do it all on January 1st.
One of my superpowers is helping clients quiet the noise so they can stay FOCUSED on what actually matters, and successfully implement the things DIRECTLY correlated to their OWN goals.
Ready to fit your fitness into your life instead of the other way around? DM me “New Year” and let’s chat about how to get you feeling better in your body without needing to be super strict or dedicate your whole life to making a change. 🙌🏼

Plot twist… I’m in person again 💪🏼
I’ve officially accepted a position with Life Time Burlington and will be joining their personal training team starting January 6th.
I was scouted for this opportunity earlier this month, and honestly, the timing couldn’t be more aligned with my expertise, the direction of my work, and what my family needs right now.
I’m excited to step into this new chapter as a go-to in-person coach for Lifetime members, especially moms navigating postpartum + perimenopause!
And if I’m being honest?
I’ve really missed this.
Being on the fitness floor.
Working hands-on with clients.
Sharpening my craft alongside an incredible team.
This role lets me do all of that again.
And just to be clear, my online business and Balanced Body program isn’t going anywhere and remains completely separate. This just adds another layer to how and where I get to coach.
Excited for this next chapter ✨ and can’t wait to share more of it with you.

⚠️ Once you see these results, you can’t unsee them.
DM me RESULTS for 2026 to be the year you drop sizes, fit into clothes that haven’t fit in forever, build muscle definition that you stop to admire in the mirror, ditch your perfectionism, and be the healthy mom for your family.
I will share how we can work together in 2026.
This is possible for you when you take the first step and just send the damn DM. 🤩
Do you want to start January without having gained a pound?
Comment GAME PLAN for my Big Holiday Meal Guide for how to eat all your holiday favorites without undoing all your progress.
One strategy my clients love using is called “Special Factor.” Make 3 columns or get out 3 post its.
1. Not Special
2. Sorta Special
3. Very Special
Then put all your upcoming holiday events into a category so you can identify and prioritize the ones worth the splurge… especially if you are someone who loves good food and a glass of wine to go with it. 😉

Kate lost 12 pounds and 2 inches from her waist in 10 weeks—without being perfect.
She had a clear “cut” season…with an end date!
She trained with intention. Weights.
She ate in a way that kept her blood sugar steady. Focusing on what to ADD, not subtract.
And she adapted when life got in the way. There will always be blips and trips and things that come up.
This is what happens when your fat-loss plan actually fits your life. You can stick with it and the next thing you know, you’re confidently tucking in fitted white shirts without needing high waists to do it!
If you know you want to drop a size in 2026, comment KATE and I’ll send you the next step.
It’s December 1st — cue all the fitness messaging telling you why you “shouldn’t wait until January 1st” to make a change.
But instead of setting ourselves up for failure with all that “don’t wait” pressure, me and my clients celebrate the “don’t STOP” vibe.
Comment PRIMER for the plan we’re using to prevent holiday weight gain and get our metabolisms ready for a fat loss phase in January… with zero slashing calories or diving into some extreme protocol this just because an influencer says we’re “not doing enough.”
