Great illustration of how to improve randomness in algorithms

One of the Secrets Guarding the Secure Internet Is a Wall of Lava Lamps Cloudflare provides security and domain name services for millions of the most prominent sites on the web. The company has built a solid reputation for its secure encryption and one of the key factors in its system is a wall of 100 lava lamps in the lobby of its San Francisco headquarters.

Recap of Last Week,

On Thursday, Suffolk Information Systems Club co-hosted a trip to Mendix, one of the first software companies to help business customers develop and deploy mobile and Web apps.

We were greeted with a warm welcome from all of their staff members who were present.

We received a summary of the company’s background, met a few alumni from Suffolk, introduced to the work they do, and was presented with opportunities to get involve with Mendix.

For those who were unable to attend, we are organizing a second trip that will take place on a weekend day.
