☀️ Good luck to all our Simmons Sharks with Finals Week starting tomorrow! Just a heads up that the library will be operating on updated hours during Summer break. From May 10th to September 6th we’ll be open from 10am - 6pm Monday through Saturday, but closed on Sundays and holidays. The Archives will be open from 10am - 4pm Monday through Thursday, but closed Friday to Sundays and on holidays. The Silent Study Room will be available 24/7 with you Simmons ID.

Holidays:
Memorial Day May 25th - Closed
Juneteenth June 19th - Closed
Independence Day July 3rd and 4th - Closed

🌼 The library will be operating on updated hours during spring break. We’ll be open from 10am-6pm from March 2-5, and closed from March 6-8. Have a wonderful and restful Spring Break! 🌼

To give our patrons and library workers adequate time to travel home in advance of the Nor’easter, the Library will be closing at 6pm today, Sunday, February 22nd. Chat and email reference will be available until 10pm. The 24 hour study room will also be available. The Library will follow the University plans for Monday, February 23rd and Tuesday, February 24th and be closed all day, chat and email reference will still be available during normal hours.

Due to the impending storm, the library will be open 10am to 12pm on
Sunday, January 25. As long as the campus is open, the 24-hour space remains available. Email and chat reference will be available during our normal Sunday hours of 10am-6pm.
Due to the campus closure on Monday, January 26, the library will be physically closed all day. Email and chat reference will still be available.

The Simmons University Library will be closed from December 20th - January 4th. We hope you all had an amazing semester and look forward to seeing you next year.

In honor of November being Native American Heritage Month, we are highlighting powerful voices in Indigenous literature here at the Simmons University Library. Come by our book display to explore and check out works by Louise Erdrich, Sherman Alexie, Leslie Marmon Silko, and many more.
