This is the start of a three-level course is designed to work on the important fundamentals of voiceover work, including breath control, resonances, keyword analysis, client-talent etiquette, and how to get the voice within you OUT. The practice copy used for the class will cover a variety of subjects and styles so that students have fun finding their voice and learn to sell! Dorothy uses her knowledge and extensive experience in the voiceover world to help her students design and build a career in this field. In Level 1, each student will practice reading scripts in a professional sound booth, recording group spots and one solo VO spot. Each student will get one edited mp3 of the solo VO spot they do, which could be used as a sample audition piece for producers and casting directors.

Voice-Over Intensive / Level 3 | 11/12-13

THIS TWO-DAY SEMINAR MEETS ON SATURDAY, 1:00pm UNTIL 5:00pm, �
*AND* SUNDAY, 1:00pm UNTIL 5:00pm

LEVEL 3 CLASS. There will be more intensive work on copy....and individual time within the class with different types of copy, including announcer, character, public service announcement, promo, industrial, & animation.

Dorothy uses her knowledge and extensive experience in the voice/over work world to help her students design and build a career in this field.

Every student will practice reading scripts in a professional sound booth.

Students will record 4-5 spots and will get two edited mp3's. The spots, engineered by Dorothy and Brian, could be used as a sample audition piece for producers and casting directors. Students will receive each spot edited with breaths out, no music. Students who complete all three v/o class levels will have the option (for an additional fee) to have all their mp3's edited (from all 3 levels) into a 1 minute demo reel with music. Dorothy and Brian will edit all takes and put the best takes in the perfect succession with music that defines the spot and gives a true 'signature sound' to the talent.



Prerequisite: You must have taken the Level 1 AND Level 2 Voice-Over Intensive workshops with Dorothy & Brian to sign up for this course.
