This year’s inaugural BC Giving Day invites the entire BC community (alumni, students, parents, friends, faculty, and staff) to unite for one day to make a gift to the areas of campus they are most passionate about. As our organization grows, so do our needs—it is our sincere hope that we can grow our support of the organizations we partner with, to provide financial support as well as our time. We challenge our 4Boston community to pledge 4dollars 4Boston, and give generously. Applications for next year’s 2019-2020 4Boston Council will be open until this Friday March 15th! We are excited this year to be opening our application pool beyond current 4B members, to the broader Boston College Community. Those with a passion for service and reflection are encouraged to apply!

This weekend, we gathered at our annual Spring Teach-In, aimed at educating volunteers on various challenges impacting the communities we serve. We are incredibly grateful to all of our amazing council members for their work and research, and to Matt DelSesto, co-founder of Boston College’s Incarceration to Education initiative, for his keynote address.
