We've known John since he was a middle schooler, working with him online during the pandemic. Last summer and into the fall, we supported him on his college essays. We also worked with his older brother, now a college senior.

Come August, John is off to a prestigious university. It was a special treat to meet him in person earlier this week and wish him well. John and his big brother have a bright future; how lucky we were to work with both of them.

We've worked with this student since he was a middle-schooler. For the past several years, we have met in early June to celebrate another successful school year. Part of our celebration involves eating our way through Newton Center.

Today he is a rising senior. A talented writer, he is also smart, funny and a good human. Wishing him and all of our students the happiest of summers.

This month, I’m teaching a memoir class for older adults at a local retirement community. Yesterday the prompt asked participants to discuss an influential person in their lives. I heard an inspiring story about a teacher who emphasized the value of inclusion in her French classroom. Thank you, S, for sharing.

We just learned that one of our students received admission and financial aid offers at all the schools to which he applied! Made our day. We will be publishing a complete list of college acceptances in May.
