Need a study break? For those who enjoy music and symphony, Boston University Wind Ensemble will be hold tomorrow night at 8pm in Tsai Performance Center, 685 Commonwealth Avenue. The Wind Ensemble includes: Hemisphere by Joseph Turrin, Octandre by Edgard Varèse, and Symphony No.1 “New Day Rising” by Steven Reineke; David Martin will be the conductor. The event is free and open to public, sit back and relax yourself.

For those who are interested in careers of technology and computer science, the IBM Forum will be a great chance for you to ask questions and interact with IBM employers. IBM will host SHPE National Conference from 3:30pm to 4:30pm on Nov 8th. Senior speakers working in the technology industry will offer suggestions to help you prepare for companies like IBM. Happy Halloween Terriers! For those who want to find a place that is full of excitement, Haunted Bay Hotel would be the perfect place to celebrate Halloween. A hyper-exciting Halloween event will be hosted by First Upper Bay Faculty tonight from 8pm to 10pm in Towers Basement, 140 Bay State Road. Not only there is a bone chilling hunted house waiting for you, but also you can discuss about fear with others at a reflection section. Lastly, costumes are recommended, and BU IDs are required if you plan to go. Again, hope you have a great Halloween night.

BU is hosting All Major Fall Career Fair this Wednesday from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm, at GSU Metcalf Hall. Over 100 companies in different industries will participate, including Boston Children’s Hospital ,Dell Inc., EF Education First. Students of all class years are welcomed. Prepare yourself and seize this opportunity to practice networking skills. Good luck on job hunting.

All-Major Career Fair is less in one week. Student Ambassadors of Boston University will lead a Career Fair Prep Drop-In session on October 15th, 5pm to 7pm in CCD Room, Yawkey Center. Tips for professional success, including appropriate interview dress code, will be shared in this event. If you want to be more prepared for the Career Fair on Oct 17th, don’t hesitate to come.

It’s never too late to start an internship. Tomorrow, “Internship Search 101” will be hosted by Boston University at CCD sixth floor, Yawkey Center from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. In this workshop, you will learn how to find an internship, research companies, and maximize your internship experience in a proactive way.
