Have not posted in a very long time. But could not resist sharing the beauty of mt auburn cemetery. Led a photography workshop there yesterday called. Making colors sing. And wow did they ever. Go if you can. Next week we head to the Arnold arboretum. Also spectacular. See details on our meetup site.

Perfection. Kelleher Rose Garden. “Nobody sees a flower, really- it’s so small—we haven’t time, and to see takes time-like to have a friend takes time. Georgia O’Keeffe. My suggestion find a friend and take them to see the rose garden. In full bloom right now. So sweet this beauty blooming. I took my photo class there on Sunday and we had a fantastic shoot. Highly recommended.

Right place right time. I have been thinking of this shot for weeks as I go on my morning walk. I would often see the crew boats passing under the mass ave bridge from a distance. Today was the day I was in the right place. Hope you Enjoy this moment of beauty. What a day!

Moving day. They are back!! Went for an early morning photo walk and it was such a pleasure to see this happening. A whole crew assembling the swan boats. A boston tradition since 1877. Summer was just not summer with out them last year. So glad they are back looking well rested and ready to ride. Opening day Saturday may 8.

Blossom Bliss. Just when I thought the blossoms could not be more beautiful they became bewitching. Mesmerizing to watch them dancing in the light reflecting on the lagoon. Good reminder to look down now and then. As above so below. -tography

What to do while the blossoms are blooming. Pose,pedal, paint, picnic, photograph, perch, read, rest,relax, just be. The Boston Esplanade cherry trees are ready and waiting for you to visit.

Snow blossoms. Thought I would put together a collection of my favorite images from the spring snow storm this morning. I hesitated to go out. Many excuses ... my camera will get wet. It’s slippery walking. It will probably stop snowing before I get to the gardens. Then a quiet voice whispered ... just go. When I finally made it to the boston gardens it was magical. Silent so peaceful. So even if I did not create a single image I can say being present and seeing beauty are more than enough. I love Boston! 🌸

Springter in Boston. Trees in full bloom and snow. I just could not resist going out with my camera. Got soaked and it was freezing but worth it. As they say bad weather makes for good photos.
