Hip Hip Hooray! Welcome to Yal-Day-New’s Alphabet Day! A is for our AWESOME students and families! Thank you for joining us! 🎉

We know our students learn best when they can touch, explore, and have hands-on experiences!

That’s why we are showcasing their work, and partnering with our families to provide educational opportunities around literacy, writing, letter recognition, sounds, and name recognition this week! We enjoyed creative stations with sensory experiences, dry erase boards and tracing with names, matching games, and an “Alphabet Scavenger Hunt/I SPY” bins for letters.

We were inspired by “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom” by Bill Martin Jr and John Archambault to learn about English letters. Thank you to Morah Angela for enriching our evening with the Hebrew Alef-bet! What a fun, educational evening we shared together! 💙

Almog had so much fun getting messy with the art project his Teacher, Mr. Brian, planned for our Preschool/Pre-K students. As they are learning about “Dinosaurs” this week, they painted tracks with dinosaurs. He definitely loved this project! Messy art is fun, an opportunity to learn fine motor skills, and be creative independently! 🦕🎨 🦖

Mazel Tov to the Chernoff Family on the arrival of their beautiful little girl! Elchanan is a BIG Brother, and we know he is going to be so loving in his new role! Wishing his family all the best on their new bundle of joy! 💙🎉❤️
