We are grateful for a week that is dedicated to connecting with our teams. What a blessing this week has been!

It's conference week at Edify! 🎉 This year's theme is Bold Faith, taking courageous action for Christ's Kingdom.

Though we're meeting across four different nations – 🇵🇦 Panama, 🇳🇬 Nigeria, 🇺🇬 Uganda, and the 🇺🇸 US – we celebrate the same mission and worship the same God. What a gift it is to be with our global team, both in person and virtually!

As we conclude our feature on Ethiopia, we invite you to join us in prayer for the nation’s continued progress and stability. Please join us in praying for:
• Peaceful elections
• Economic stability
• Regional security – for lasting peace and safety in the northern part of the country
• International relations – for peace with neighboring countries

Staff Spotlight⭐ Meet Mihiret Tefera Abera, Program Lead for Edify's team in Ethiopia. After feeling a distinct call to pursue work in Christ-centered education, Mihiret discovered Edify and joined the team in 2018. As Program Lead, she finds great fulfillment in the community aspect of her work, specifically collaborating with staff, partners, and school owners through relationships. She shares, "I deeply appreciate how our mission prioritizes the expansion of God's kingdom by building authentic relationships both within and beyond the organization." Mihiret is deeply committed to the future of her country, stating, “A primary vision I have for my nation is to ensure that every citizen has access to high-quality education.”

On a personal level, Mihiret uses the word "clarity" to describe how God has impacted her through her time at Edify. Her prayer is that the organization remains steadfast in its mission through every season as we continue to serve communities across Africa and Latin America. And while she is a dedicated leader, she also brings joy and laughter to her team, admitting she often starts laughing at her own jokes before she can even finish telling them – a great example of our Core Value "Be Joyful, Be Thankful, and Have Fun!"
