The Center for Student Diversity & Inclusion’s Annual 1913 Celebration is intended to honor our students who are paving the way for representation and leadership in higher education and related fields. This year marks one of our biggest celebrations yet!

A huge thank you to all of our speakers, performers, caterers, staff, and even more importantly, our graduating students!

Exciting day for CSDI! We’re proud to celebrate 4 of our students who were awarded for their contributions to our Center, and the greater Suffolk community at this years Journey Leadership Awards Ceremony:

Nicole Henninger: DPE Inclusive Excellence Award (honors a student who exemplifies courageous leadership and an unwavering commitment to advocacy).

Jade Buchanan: Allyship in Action Award (recognizes a student who leads with intention, compassion, and a deep commitment to building a more inclusive community).

Victor Cruz-Castro: Dorothy M. McNamara Alumni Award (awarded to a student who has made a significant, lasting contribution to the quality of life at Suffolk).

Ella Dunkelberger: CSDI Office Assistant of the Year Award (recognizes a student who staff member who demonstrates outstanding leadership and dedication in supporting the mission of CSDI).

Join CSDI on Monday 4/27 for our final bagel hour of the semester! We will have FREE coffee, books, and bagels for you to fuel up on before finals. A representative from BPL will also be here to help register folks for a library card. We will also have tote bags for you to customize to your hearts content. We hope to see you there!
