Many of our community members have shared their wishes for more slower paced programs — journeys with extra time to soak it all in, fewer rushed moments and space to truly connect with a destination. We’re adding more of them as quickly as we can, and this new Croatian adventure is one of them! 🇭🇷

Join us on “Croatia: Treasure of the Adriatic Coast at a Slower Pace” for a thoughtfully paced learning adventure, designed to give you time to absorb your surroundings, expand your knowledge and make connections through interactive lectures.

To give you a sneak peek into what you can experience on this slower-paced program:

- Explore Zagreb, Croatia’s lively capital, with time to soak in its thriving café culture, bustling markets and Austro-Hungarian architecture.

- Journey along the breathtaking Adriatic coast, discovering the marbled streets of medieval towns and exploring UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

- Breathe in life on the Istrian peninsula, known for its gourmet food and wine, including world-class truffles and olive oil.

Plus, much more - which one of these excursions would you be the most excited to view first? Share your answers in the comments! 💬

“No matter how many photos you see, nothing prepares you for this.”

Venturing off-the-beaten path in Greece, Lizzie takes us on her journey following in the footsteps of ancient history and hidden gems, where every stop is a new story waiting to be told! 🇬🇷

Adventure is found around every corner in Greece! From discovering that turtles roam free in Athens, to hitting the right notes with your group in the Beehive tomb in Mycenae, the magic isn’t just found in the famous ruins and cities—it’s also in the unexpected moments. 🐢💙

Now, it’s time to answer Lizzie’s burning question - do you research everything before a trip, or are you similar to Lizzie in that you like to discover the destination as you go?

At Road Scholar, learning and discovery don’t stop after one adventure, they often inspire lifelong passions.

We love spotlighting participants who are pursuing meaningful, inspiring and creative goals - like Susan H., who explored the world by saddle and rode a horse in all 50 states and expanded her equestrian adventures across six continents! From Pennsylvania, to Maui, all the way to Africa, Susan’s story is a great testament to the power of lifelong learning and the magic of seeing the world from a different perspective.

Now we’re curious: What’s on your wish list? 🗺️

Maybe you’re searching for rare birds, learning a new language, going skydiving, or setting out to see every continent. Whatever inspires you to travel, learn and discover, we’d love to hear about it.

Share your passion or dream adventure in the comments below — your story could inspire fellow Road Scholars! 👇
