On the final day of we are thrilled to celebrate Boston legend, Yolanda Cellucci! Forever fashionable, brilliant, and radiant, Yolanda lights up every fashion event she attends. Yolanda’s fashion career also includes a stunning bridal boutique and salon, appropriately named Yolanda’s, that was located in Waltham for 41 years. A collection of her dresses and headpieces were even on display at the Waltham Museum.

You can read more about Yolanda and her experiences in her latest book, Beyond the Glitz and Glamour. You can also catch her on her cable show, Style and Glamour with Yolanda!

✨Women’s History Month✨There’s no other way to put it. Marilyn Riseman was an icon on the Boston fashion scene. Her signature black bob and red lip along with some combination of Alexander McQueen, Valentino, Lanvin or other couture made an appearance at every fashion event, party and cultural happening in the city for decades. She also planned parties and fashion shows, always supporting and encouraging the next generation of fashion designers and entrepreneurs to be true to their own genuine aesthetics... in her own unique way of course.

Her family has deep roots in Boston and in the 1960s she opened her own boutique called Apogee on Newbury Street, which was home to Parisian couture. When she passed away in 2014, Boston Fashion Week was dedicated to her and presenting designers left a front row seat open in honor of Marilyn. ❤️
