Q: What advice would you give to other students who are considering applying for GSSP Academic Merit & Engagement scholarship?
A: "Advice that I would give to other students considering applying for the scholarship is that you need to work hard, persevere, and put your best foot forward. It’s not only about grades but is about passion within your classes and engagement."

Q: What do you like best about studying at UMass Boston?
A: "What I like about Umass Boston is that the instructors are very unique and want the best for their students, one never feels afraid to ask for help in this type of environment."

Q: What do you enjoy most about the campus?
A: "I love that our campus fosters a family like feeling and that you can be somewhat closer with your professors as well as foster great relationships with your peers."

Q: What are your plans for the future?
A: "My plan for the future is to specialize in communications studying media and communications and likely put that into social media marketing or social media communications."

Q: What advice would you give to other students who are considering applying for GSSP Academic Merit & Engagement scholarship?
A: "Maintain your grades! But don't sacrifice your personal life either—going out with friends or engaging in clubs and other activities is encouraged. One important lesson
I've learned, highlighted by my advisor, is the importance of maintaining a balanced life beyond just assignments and school. There is a whole world waiting to be explored. Based on personal experience, when you're feeling overwhelmed, it can negatively
impact your performance. Take a moment to compose yourself and methodically plan out your goals."

Q: What do you like best about studying at UMass Boston?
A: "I believe it's the professors. Up until now, the professors I've encountered have consistently provided support and demonstrated a deep understanding of their respective fields. It is important to ask questions in order to obtain answers, as they cannot anticipate your thoughts. If you're unsure about approaching them in a crowded setting, you have the option of reaching out during office hours, after class, or even via email. Aside from that, maybe the sense of fellowship? Especially at GSSP, the wide range of international students community fosters a rich environment for understanding and learning from one another."

Q: What do you enjoy most about the campus?
A: "The library and ISC building; they're peaceful places to work on my assignments. Also, the GSSP office, which might sound odd, but it's one of the things I enjoy the most ..."

Q: What are your plans for the future?
A: "I have lofty objectives for the future, with one clear goal being to perform well in the upcoming semesters. [...] I'm also considering taking internships"

Q: What advice would you give to other students who are considering applying for the GSSP Merit & Engagement scholarship?
A: "I want to say, please invest in your study life and love what you do. In this way, life will become simpler, and the difficulties encountered will be easily solved."

Q: What do you like best about studying at UMass Boston?
A: "What I like most is the classroom atmosphere here. Our professor is very amiable, and the students are very easy to communicate with. If there is something you don’t understand in class, you can contact the professor at any time for advice. The library also has a writing center that specializes in helping with essay writing. My studies are going very smoothly, and I also enjoy interacting with professors and classmates."

Q: What do you enjoy most about the campus?
A: "I love the campus center; I can find many things interesting as clubs, souvenirs and snacks"

Q: What are your plans for the future?
A: "I actually don’t have any big future plans. I will continue to work hard now to lay a solid foundation for my future. Then there will be no constraints on future plans."

Q: What advice would you give to other students who are considering applying for GSSP Academic Merit & Engagement scholarship?
A: "If you are planning to apply for the scholarship, from the beginning of the semester, you must carefully research and review the conditions and focus on your scores, another important part is participating in the events and activities that GSSP organizes for students. You need to consider classes before choosing for the first semester because most of the time you will apply for scholarships based on that semester's results."

Q: What do you like best about studying at UMass Boston?
A: "There are many things I like about UMass Boston, but what I like most is the very close and friendly educational environment. ... Everyone is very friendly and helps each other a lot. A typical example is the friends I'm traveling with, although there aren't many, but to me they are of very good quality."

Q: What do you enjoy most about the campus?
A: "The campus is bustling; it seems like every week there are events at the Campus Center and very interesting activities. Walking around campus along the beach is also a good idea for healing after deadlines for projects or midterms. The school is also completing the constructions for the area behind the Campus Center, and I am looking forward to that. Maybe in the upcoming summer semester, I will actively walk around my school because it looks so great!"

Q: What are your plans for the future?
A: "... My plans for the future are to focus on my studies and trying to experience new things in Boston."

Q: What advice would you give to other students who are considering applying for the GSSP Merit & Engagement scholarship?
A: "Focus on your studies! Don't be easily influenced by everything else!"

Q: What do you like best about studying at UMass Boston?
A: "As an international student, language proficiency is a consistent challenge for me. However, my professors are exceedingly supportive and patiently address my these challenges whenever I have them. Their assistance has been instrumental in my overall learning experience at UMass Boston."

Q: What do you enjoy most about the campus?
A: "The staff and faculties at UMass Boston are consistently accessible to provide assistance for my academic challenges!"

Q: What are your plans for the future?
A: "I haven't decided what I will do in the future, but I will focus on my immediate goals, such as getting good grades, traveling and seeing the world during the holidays."

Q: What advice would you give to other students who are considering applying for the GSSP Merit & Engagement scholarship?
A: "Don't hesitate to apply! Don't give up just because you don't have the best GPA or perfect experience. If you've ever tried to improve your academic achievements or have participated in even something ordinary with your heart, you're eligible to apply!"

Q: What do you like best about studying at UMass Boston?
A: "The best thing that hasn't changed since I first saw UMass Boston is the view from campus. When I look at the open landscape and the endless ocean while studying, the beautiful scenery quickly calms my mind and makes me feel refreshed!"

Q: What do you enjoy most about the campus?
A: "The most enjoyable thing for me is meeting international friends through GSSP! We have so many different stories to share, everyone is friendly and has extreme enthusiasm! I'm very pleased with the good atmosphere."
