Somebody said to me, "Well, we all know marketing is based on lying...."

I couldn't get it out of my head the last few days.

Is it?

Hell no.

The bottom line for successful business?

Transparency.

If you eat cake a lot, show your friends on a FB post.

If you're in Colombia focused as hell on your impact and service goals, tell the world about what you're up to.

Transparency is everything.

At the end of the day, we all just want the truth.

This is why I shoot people straight.

I don't tell people they're going to hit their goals unless I actually feel it in my bones, and feel they have the skills necessary to execute.

I don't confirm people's deepest wishes without letting them know what I feel may sabotage their success...

If someone's lighting is off in our videos, I tell them to fix it.

If someone is holding back with their capabilities, I let 'em know.

I will say the hard things that others are afraid to say because I know that it is those exact things that the person NEEDS to go their next level.

Why? Because that is how I have grown the most, the fastest, in the last four years.

And I transparently tell you if I actually don't believe something or if something feels off.

Or worse, if I feel you are delusional about something.

We want transparency.

We want to be "shot straight".

We want the hard truths, even if they sting for a second. (Or weeks)....

(Truth bomb: we actually crave for someone to call us on our bu****it. Feel into that and tell me that isn't true).

Business is two people telling each other the truth about the next possibility they could both step into.

Transparency is sustainable (no bad conscience keeping you up at night).

Transparency is sexy (it can be trusted).

Transparency is the rule I choose to play by.
