This was a minute ago…well…more like a decade ago. A lifetime yet also a blink of an eye.

The practices have only deepened and become even more entwined into each moment of my life…practices like these asana—poses—were just the training ground to workshop the patience, dedication, and awareness it takes to be a spiritual seeker. I still keep practicing on the mat and meditation cushion…the daily workshop that brings constant comfort and questions and solace. Someday there will be nothing left of this body, only the vibration that is all things….🎶🕉️🎶Om Om Om🎶🕉️🎶

Each chicken lays an egg in a shape unique to her! 🌟 These two eggs are from two lovely girls 🪺 When looking closely I can see how they are subtly different; one is darker and more round, the other lighter and elongated.

When I began raising chickens, I had no idea that I would be able to tell who laid which egg! I suppose there is a lesson in there about how being our own unique self is more than enough… that our individuality is indeed part of the Universal Design 💙🌎🌟

All-State Concert! My teacher-heart is bursting with pride! 🎶 The students put on an EPIC performance yesterday at Symphony Hall! All-State Chorus, Jazz Band, Orchestra, and Concert Band. One of my clarinet students was in the band!

From the first notes of the National Anthem to the final chord ringing in that magnificent hall, I got tons of chills and fist-pumping moments of musical artistry and flawless ex*****on yesterday. After another year in the trenches of teaching, to see and hear the result of the students practicing for years, to see their courage to audition for this ensemble, and to hear them raise the bar of artistic excellence…well…I’m now speechless! 🎶🌟🎶🌟🎶

Report: Suspect One, still a canine of interest in ongoing case involving destruction of pens/shoes/glasses caught canoodling with adorable Pitty aka “Rosie, Rosalita”

This is a hopeful moment as previous unsupervised interactions have devolved into a playtime best described as “rambunctious” or more accurately: “omg you guys are about to knock over the floor lamps and no-the -pillows-are-not-for-tug-of-war!”

Small moment of hope that teenage Doberman years continue to show marked improvement in Suspect One’s decorum.

Still, be advised that if you take a shower, don’t leave your clothes on the chair. They will disappear and while hilarious to other household members, hopping around in a towel as you search for your socks and *ahem* underthings is not a graceful start to one’s day.
