This week's learning theme is also "Animals in Spring." The children searched for ants under the trees in the outdoor playground. Through this outdoor observation activity, the children observed the ants' movements and habits, thus stimulating their interest in the growth and changes of animals in spring and their spirit of exploration of nature.

Our learning theme this week is "Animals in Spring." Using glue sticks, the children affixed various shapes of colored cardstock to their corresponding positions and then used colored markers to draw and create snails. Through this artistic activity, the children learned stories about spring animals, thereby stimulating their spirit of inquiry regarding the growth and development of living things in the natural world.

On sunny days, the children played and frolicked on the playground, enjoying the warmth of the spring breeze and sunshine. They spontaneously formed groups and stood under small trees to observe the shape and color of the flower buds, appreciating the beauty of spring blossoms and experiencing the wonders of nature. Through this extracurricular activity, the children truly experienced the revival of the earth firsthand, thus cultivating their curiosity and observation skills.

Our learning theme this week is welcoming the arrival of spring. We prepared clear cups, shaving foam, water, and food coloring for the children. We filled the cups with water, topped them with a layer of shaving foam, and used droppers to add colored water. Once the foam became saturated, the colored water began to trickle down—simulating the process of a rainbow shower. The children took turns stepping up to conduct the experiment themselves while observing the simulated rainfall. Through this small classroom experiment, the children learned about the principles of rainfall, thereby stimulating their awareness of environmental changes in nature as well as their spirit of exploration.

This week's learning theme is welcoming the arrival of spring. It also coincides with Easter, and the teacher used plastic eggs placed on a long platter, allowing the children to collect them using hoops. Through this indoor activity, the children learned that Easter is closely related to the revival of spring, symbolizing the earth's renewal and the blooming of flowers. This inspired the children's joy and emotion in celebrating the arrival of spring.

Our learning theme this week is welcoming the arrival of spring. Using safety scissors, the children cut green paper strips to represent flower stems, and then used glue sticks to attach colorful cardstock circles to these green stems, thereby creating a scene of spring flowers in full bloom. Through this art activity—specifically the hands-on processes of cutting and pasting—the children were able to perceive the changes that occur in nature's scenery with the arrival of spring, as well as observe the shapes and colors of flowers as they blossom; this, in turn, sparked their interest in and anticipation for the arrival of the spring season.

Our learning theme this week is mathematics. We invited student volunteers into the classroom to play a polygon-folding game with the children. Using paper strips of various colors, the volunteers demonstrated how to fold three-dimensional hexagons, allowing the children to observe how the colors shifted when viewed from different angles. Through this activity, the children learned about concepts of length and measurement, thereby cultivating their logical thinking, spatial reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.

Our learning theme for this week is dental health and care. The children used brushes to apply white glue onto tooth-shaped pieces of white cardstock, then affixed white cotton balls to create a tooth collage. Through this arts-and-crafts activity, the children learned about the structure and shape of teeth, thereby stimulating their cognitive understanding of dental anatomy as well as their interest and spirit of inquiry regarding proper dental care.

Our learning theme for this week is dental health and care. We invited dentists and nurses from Tufts Hospital to visit our classroom to share knowledge regarding dental health and hygiene, and to demonstrate—using relevant care tools—how to properly clean one's mouth and teeth. Through this learning experience, the children gained a deeper understanding of how to protect their dental health and practice personal oral hygiene, thereby fostering their healthy physical growth and development.
