Hi everyone,

We are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting an in-person happy hour tomorrow, October 28th! We hope you'll join us for our first in-person event since February 2020 to reconnect with colleagues and friends. The event will be free to attend but there will be an opportunity to donate towards our BASAA Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) scholarship fund. (Get excited for some raffle prizes!)

If you're planning to attend the NAFSA Region XI Awards Ceremony, come on over and celebrate with us after. We'll be there as long as folks want to stay!

The event will be held outdoors and we will follow all of Trillium's masking and social distancing guidelines. Currently, masks are required indoors, but since we will be outside, masks will not be required. We cannot guarantee that everyone will be vaccinated at this event. We recommend that you evaluate your own level of risk surrounding COVID-19 and only attend if you are comfortable. No food or drinks will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own snacks or grab a bite from Time Out Market, right next to Trillium! We're happy to answer any questions about the event and we hope to see you there!

Our application deadline is September 15th, and we are looking for two or three passionate, organized, and enthusiastic individuals to serve as BASAA Co-Chairs starting in January 2022. This is a great opportunity to become more involved in our community and build leadership skills. If you are interested in becoming a BASAA Co-Chair, please complete the application form linked below. This is an unpaid, two-year term.
