Spoiler alert: mini mammoth's Rx Book made the list!

Whether you’re in school, studying at home, or in clinics —— ok, *especially* 😳 in clinics —— it can be hard to present & focused, and free from distractions.
When I was a student on small animal rotations, and writing out my morning treatment sheets, I used to sit on the floor in a run next to one of my large breed 🐕 inpatients. It was usually quieter in a run than standing in the middle of the ward, and helped me focus and think about my patient treatment plans. Not to mention good company to boot :)
What are some of the things that you do in clinics or in school to stay mindful and present in your work?

Keep your patients close 🐶 🐈 🐎 🐑 … and your formulary closer. 📖
Can’t remember the dose you like to use for lasix? With your Rx Book at your side, your usuals are all in one place, so you can quickly find what you need.
The Rx Book isn’t like anything else out there - it’s a veterinary formulary organizer - so that you can find just your stuff without sorting through the extra fluff.
⏰ Save yourself the daily micro frustrations of finding what you need and check out the Rx Book in our shop.

The Next 10 Hours is a study strategy for the NAVLE® that embraces a busy & unpredictable 4th-year schedule.
🕒 With this plan, you study in 10-hour increments (not all at the same time). Each 10-hour block, you study ALL of the species in the percentages that are expected on the exam, for a holistic and balanced approach to the NAVLE®.
Rinse & repeat every 10 hours from day 1 up until the exam.
✨ Want to see the full study plan? Find it free at the link in our bio.

When studying for the NAVLE®...
DON'T study one cake LAYER at a time.
🟣🔴🟠🟡🟢
DO study one cake SLICE at a time.
🍰
Why?
Studying for the NAVLE® one species after another up until the exam is like eating a rainbow layer cake one LAYER at a time.
It seems like a simple plan to follow, but it's based on the fallacy that you can predict how much time you will have to study between now and the exam.
If we've learned anything from this past pandemic year, it's that you can't predict the future.
So instead, study in a way that best prepares you for the overall structure of the exam, regardless of how much time you will actually end up having to study.
And that's by studying in cake SLICES. 🍰
Studying multiple species each month (in proportions equal to what is expected on the NAVLE®) is like eating a rainbow layer cake the way it was designed to be eaten: one SLICE at a time.
It's the most reliable way to study with an inherently unpredictable 4th-year schedule.
