The question I get asked more than almost anything else - which sleep training method should I use? 😮‍💨

And the honest answer is: there is no single right method. There is only the right method for YOUR baby, YOUR comfort level, and YOUR family’s specific situation.

Because here’s what I see happen constantly: a mom hears about a method that worked for someone else’s baby, tries it, finds it doesn’t fit, abandons it on night three, and concludes that sleep training just doesn’t work for her.

It’s not that the method didn’t work. It’s that it wasn’t the right method to begin with. 🤍

So let’s actually look at the landscape.

On one end you have extinction (full cry it out) fastest results, least parental presence, highest tolerance required. On the other end you have the chair method and pick-up/put-down; very gentle, very slow, highest parental involvement throughout.

And right in the middle? The Gentle 7. Ferber Method. Chair Method.

Structured enough to get real, lasting results. Gentle enough that you can actually follow through with it without abandoning ship on night two. Not the fastest method and not the slowest, but consistently the most sustainable.

Save this graphic for the next time someone asks you which method to use. 👇

And if you want help figuring out which method is actually the right fit for your specific baby - not the one that’s trending, not the one your friend used, but the one that fits your family , comment CALL below and let’s figure it out together.

Saving this one for every time someone sends me a TikTok about a trending sleep method or asks me why my baby goes to bed so early.

Five things I genuinely do not lose sleep over…pun fully intended. 😮‍💨

Because after working with hundreds of families and sleep training my own kids, here’s what I know for certain: most of what creates anxiety around baby sleep has nothing to do with what actually moves the needle.

The method that’s going viral? Irrelevant if it doesn’t fit your baby. The two-hour nap your friend’s baby takes? Has nothing to do with yours. The gorgeous nursery with the linen curtains and the natural light? Adorable and actively working against your baby’s sleep.

This is one of my favorite things to implement with families and it genuinely changes mornings in a way that’s hard to overstate.

The idea is simple: your toddler wakes up, and instead of coming to find you, they play quietly in their room.

You get 20-30 minutes of actual morning time. They get a gentle, calm start to their day. Everybody wins.

But, and this is important, introducing this concept before your child is developmentally ready to understand and follow a visual rule is the number one reason it doesn’t work. Timing is everything here.

Swipe through for exactly how to set it up, who it works best for, and when to wait before introducing it. ⬅️

And if you want help building this out for your specific toddler: comment CALL below. This is one of my favorite things to work on with families in 1:1 support.

New mama , this one is for you. 🤍

Nobody hands you a manual when you leave the hospital. Nobody tells you that your newborn has been trying to tell you they’re tired the whole time…and that by the time the hysterical crying starts, you’ve already missed the window. 😮‍💨

That’s not your fault. You just didn’t know what to look for yet.

Here’s the thing about newborn sleep cues: there are three very distinct stages and they require three very different responses. Catching your baby in the sleepy stage is everything. Miss it and you’re in overtired territory, and overtired newborns are a whole different level of hard to settle. 😅

The blank stare. The red eyebrows. The little head turn away from you. These are your green light. Your baby is telling you right now that sleep is coming and they need your help getting there.

The yawning and eye rubbing? You’re in the yellow zone. Move quickly.

The arching back and hysterical crying? You’ve hit red. And now the cortisol has kicked in and settling is going to take everything you have. 😭

Save this graphic. Screenshot it. Put it on your fridge if you have to because reading these cues in real time is one of the most powerful things you can learn in the newborn stage. 🤍

And if you want the complete roadmap for newborn sleep…not just the cues but the schedules, the wake windows, the feeding connections, and the step-by-step foundation that sets your baby up for better sleep from day one…

My phone is basically a sleep consulting hotline at this point.

Night terrors at 2am. Nap transition panic. Blackout curtain questions at the splash pad. The “hallelujah amen” text when Zara finally learned to lay back down.

I love every single one of them.

Because this is what it actually looks like. Real mamas, real questions, real chaos. And the fact that they reach out means they know they don’t have to figure it out alone.

Neither do you. 🤍

Swipe through to see what’s been landing in my texts lately, and if any of these sound like a text you’ve sent or wanted to send, drop a 🙋‍♀️ below.

And if you’re ready to stop wondering and start actually fixing it…comment CALL and I’ll send you the link to book your free consultation today and you can become my next sleep bestie!

Early bedtime used to scare the sh*t out of me.

It just felt so… extreme and logically, it made zero sense to me. Put your baby down earlier and they sleep better? The math was not mathing. I’m not a math girly, but I knew enough to know that it didn’t add up.

And then I tried it. Out of pure desperation. On a night when naps had been a disaster and I didn’t know what else to do.

My baby settled faster than she had in weeks. Slept longer than she had in weeks. And I sat on my couch at 7pm eating dinner while it was still warm and genuinely could not believe I had waited this long. 😭

Early bedtime doesn’t mean your baby wakes up earlier. It doesn’t mean you’re trapped. It doesn’t mean you’re missing out on time together. It means you’re working with your baby’s biology instead of against it and the nights get easier almost immediately when you do.

And before I knew it, I started LOVING early bedtime. Cherishing early bedtime because it didn’t just mean that my baby slept better, it meant time for me. Time for my husband and I. And THAT was priceless.

Swipe through for everything I wish someone had told me before I spent months fighting the clock and being too freaking scared to give it a try.

And if you want to know exactly what bedtime should look like for your baby right now comment NIGHT below. I’ll send you the details. 👇
