As I get ready to get off birth control for good, I have begun to wonder about what the best form of menstrual products are.

While tampons and pads have been my go-tos, the menstrual cup seems to be the top choice of most of the women in my life.

Not only are they a fan of how easy it is to use but it also helps them save money!

Do you use one? If so, what is your preferred brand?

I'd be lying to you if I told you that I wasn't nervous when I lost my V card

Now being a seguality educator, here are the things I wish I had known when wondering if I was ready to lose my v:

1. There are more ways to have seg then just 🍆 into V pe*******on
2. And those other ways are worth spending time on, learning how to cultivate
3. So that way when you do lose your V, it will be well rounded and actually enjoyable
4. It is okay if it does not feel org@smic
4. But it does not need to hurt, if there is pain you are probably moving too quickly without enough loob
5. Knowing your own body personally first will help aid the situation 1 million times

The truth is that it is okay to be unsure and nervous when you lose your V but you should try to go into it with a sense of empowerment over your own body and pleasure.

If you are not there yet then there is no rush! Losing your V is always up to you!

DISCHARGE IS NOT ONLY NORMAL, IT'S HEALTHY!

Without your 🌸 discharge, your body would not be able to flush out dead cells, bacterial and other debris. Or be able to keep you informed of the health of your 🌸 through changes in color, consistency and smell. It wouldn't be able to help defend the 🌸 against infections or foreign invaders or help maintain your pH balance.

So, next time you see your discharge remember to thank it for everything it does ;)

Oh no your period is late! You must be pregnant right?? Wrong! Well.. maybe 🩸

There are a lot of different things that could cause your period to be late that do NOT include being pregnant.

So next time your period is playing hide and go seek, don't freak out. Just ask yourself- what has changed in my life recently that might be influencing my cycle?

If the Google search bar can tell us anything about s e x it's that it can be a difficult topic

S e x is often painful for people, both physically and mentally. It can be a source of shame, confusion & suffering. Labeled by society as taboo and a sin by some religions.

It is the reason for life as we know it, so why don't we teach people how to enjoy and embrace it??

My goal: to help people create a better connection to this part of their life.

Glands inside your 🌸 and cervix make fluids that help lubricate, clean, & keep you up to date with the health of your genitalia

So, it is important to know what these fluids are telling you!

My entire life I have heard that your 🌸 is self cleaning, but wtf does that actually even mean?

Answer- A healthy va**na continually secretes fluids that lubricate the va**na and v***a. These fluids (or discharge) help clean the 🌸 by washing away blood, semen, va**nal discharge and removing old cells.

So, the 🌸 is in fact self cleaning! Awesome, does this mean we don't have to wash down there?

Not exactly! While you do not need to wash the 🌸 canal (or the inside part) the 🌸 opening and the rest of the v***a should be cleaned.

The v***a is partially self cleaning, due to the fluids that are secreted, but since the lips have folds it is common for sweat and other things to build up in this area.

How do you wash it?

Kissing is messy.

Sometimes it is utterly perfect and then sometimes you bonk teeth.

The truth is that no one has the perfect recipe for a kiss because people like all different types of things.

The best thing you can do to get better at kissing is to talk to your partner/s about what they like and do not like!

**Percentages based on normal usage of birth control products, not perfect usage*

Today we are blessed with tons of different forms of birth control, so how do you pick the right one?

1. Learn about your body. Do you want a pill that has estrogen? Do you want birth control that is hormone free? Are you using birth control as a way to also prevent STIs?

2. Get educated on effectiveness and ease of usage. Decide what level of commitment you can make to the form of birth control.

3. Have a plan for the future. Do you want kids? Are you okay with side effects?

4. Speak to your doctor/educator. If you are having trouble narrowing down what type of birth control is right for you, speak to someone knowledgeable!

🌸 infections are quite common. In fact, most women will experience at least 1 infection throughout their lifetime!

That being said, it is important to know that THAT IS NORMAL

Whether the infection be from an STI or not, it is completely normal to experience an infection in your 🌸

The best things you can do for your 🌸 is to eat/be healthy, use protection, avoid toxins/chemicals & love your body

(P.S. due to limited space on graphics, most only have the most common symptoms, causes, treatment & prevention options)

Your yoni deserves to be pampered 🌸

But please be aware that there are good and bad ways when it comes to using soaps down there.

If you're in need of a new soap or wash for your yoni let me know and I can recommend my favorites!

The vag**a is host to a delicate and harmonious mix of bacteria and yeast 🌸

While not everything listed on slide 2 will automatically trigger a yeast infection, they are the most frequent culprits behind one 👀

You're best bet at preventing a yeast infection = know your body!

If you are sensitive make sure that you are using all organic products for your V. Always change out of your bikini. Try to only take antibiotics as a last resort (consult with your dr.) Use l***s that are created for your V. Limit your sugar intact. Keep yourself clean. And stay healthy!

If you think you have a yeast infection there are strips available to test at home or just make an apt with your dr. (check my amazon (link in bio) for the strips that I use!
