When a child feels isolated or anxious, it can deeply affect their confidence and love of learning. Every child deserves an environment where they feel known, supported, and connected.

Microschools provide that. With small, close-knit communities, students are able to build confidence and meaningful relationships.

Even the best teachers have limited ability in a traditional public school. With large class sizes and state-mandated curriculums, it's hard to meet every student's individual needs and interests.

Offering small class sizes and a curriculum tailored to each child, microschools are one possible solution to this nation-wide issue.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to every educator out there — whether you're in a traditional classroom, running your own microschool, or somewhere in between. 🍎

You got into this work because you care about kids. And somewhere along the way, many of you realized that caring deeply wasn't enough. You needed more freedom to actually do something about it.

That takes courage. Whether you stayed and found ways to make it work within the system, or took the leap to build something new, you're still showing up for students in the way you believe in most.

That's worth celebrating today.👏

To every teacher and founder in our community — thank you for the incredible impact you make on kids and families every single day. 💛

Exclusive: Most Homeschoolers Also Use An Array of Resources, Data Shows 04/29/2026

KaiPod Learning was featured this morning in The 74, following the National Hybrid Schools Conference last week.

The article reflects a shift many educators are seeing firsthand: families are no longer relying on a single model. They’re blending microschools, homeschooling, and online learning to better meet student needs.

We’re especially glad to see Candice Hilton of Hilton Horizons Academy featured—representing the kind of educator-led innovation happening across the KaiPod network.

For educators thinking about new ways to reach and support students, this is a helpful look at where things are heading:

It was great to spend time with so many founders and leaders in the microschool community at the 5th Annual National Hybrid Schools Conference in Atlanta, hosted by Kennesaw State University.

Leading two sessions during the conference and co-hosting the Friday night happy hour with VELA, we were inspired to connect with so many who are building new ways to move education forward to create new possibilities for students.

Excited to be joined by colleagues and founders in our KaiPod network to celebrate this remarkable community!
