Y'all give it up for Tucker! This was his debut on the big stage and he absolutely locked in, nailing the octave runs in the Foo Fighters' "My Hero." Not an easy one for a first time up there. Well done, man.

My boy Cooper over here with the DEEP CUTS. I'd never even heard of "Warrior" by Riot before this, but he didn't just kill the playing, check out that stage presence. Stepping right up into the lights and fog like he owns the place. Always a blast to watch on stage. Well done!

This one surprised me. This kid got HEAVY on "No More Sorrow" by Linkin Park, and that last riff almost had me smash a guitar on stage. đŸ˜‚ Well done!

Will owned the stage on this one, playing the solo from Tesla's "Love Song" with the kind of swagger that makes a performance. Well done!

Lane went FULL beard for this ZZ Top tribute and absolutely committed to the bit. He's one of our veterans and always a blast on stage. He usually lives in country land, so seeing him tear up some classic rock was a fun change of pace. Nailed it, Lane!

Student Spotlight: Ethan with the moves. When I told him he had to headbang side to side with me, he goes "I can't do that and play at the same time." Then he did it anyway. AND nailed the solo. Rockstar.

Student Spotlight: BEHOLD, one of the two great betrayers of this guitar school. I gave this kid everything he needed to rock, to solo, to SHRED. And what does he do? Plays an intricate, melodic, fingerstyle Tommy Emmanuel piece. The nerve. Well done, Titus. The acoustic wizardry is impressive, second only to your path to the dark side.

Student Spotlight: Dylan is a lawyer by day. Guitarist by night. Just performed "Kilby Girl" at our student concert. Never too late to start.

Student Spotlight: Tiphanie ripped the guitar solo from Paramore's "Misery Business" on a real stage in front of a live crowd. We played it together and she held her own the whole way through. This is what happens when you skip the nursery rhymes and play real music from day one.

Student Spotlight: THE SHRED IS TOO POWERFUL. Caleb found maybe the most star-power lighting spot he could possibly stand in for this one, and MAN does it look good. One of our resident shredders, full sending it. Great job, Caleb.
