Not our typical post for the main page, we want to try and spread the post to try and help the families of those involved.
Please help our California Firefighter brothers who were injured in a MVA near Marshall, TX. that were headed to the Carolinas to assist with hurricane relief efforts. They were airlifted to a Shreveport hospital and are listed in critical condition at this time. Their families have been flown in from California to be with them. Just scan the QR Code below and make your donation.

Exciting news for our Louisiana Fire Service!
We're thrilled to announce significant developments in our Fire Training Program particularly in the northern region of the state and at the Pine Country Facility.
State Fire Marshal Chief Bryan J Adams is happy to welcome a new Deputy Superintendent at our Pine Country facility. Chief Johnny Ogden has decided to join the FETA team bringing with him a wealth of experience in both fire suppression and firefighter training.
"Chief Ogden’s leadership and expertise, honed during his years of service in North Louisiana, will elevate our program to new heights," said Chief Adams, "He will officially start with FETA in early September and we eagerly anticipate the positive impact he will have on our team."
Please help me in welcoming Deputy Superintendent Chief Johnny Odgen!!
**NOTICE**
Tonight you may notice many military aircraft in the air around Camp Minden Army Base and Minden Airport. No we are not being invaded, this is just a military training exercise with the 101st Airborne.
