𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆'𝘀 𝗢𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱

Because volunteers have been able to eradicate nearly all the highly-invasive Japanese knotweed in Oliver Street Park, Sunday's goal is to improve the habitat of the park so that native plants can be re-planted in the spring.

The Halloween Costume Swap is back! 👻♻️
We’re collecting clean, gently used costumes and accessories for the Bordentown City Green Team’s annual Halloween Costume Swap.
Do you have costumes your kids have outgrown, characters you’ve retired, or dress-up pieces taking up space in the closet? Pass them along and give someone else the chance to enjoy them this Halloween. It’s an easy way to clear out some clutter and get your next costume.

Leaping Dog Art Studio
Why reuse? 🌎 Costumes often contain fabrics, plastics, foam, glitter, and other materials that require energy and resources to manufacture but may only be worn once or twice. Keeping costumes in circulation longer helps reduce textile waste, avoids unnecessary new purchases, and keeps usable materials out of the waste stream.
Want to do more? 🙋 We can always use extra hands! Help us collect and organize costumes, set up for the swap, or volunteer during the event. Reach out to [email protected] if you’d like to get involved.

We’ll be closed Sunday, Oct 4 for Bordentown City’s Cran Fest, but we’ll be back the following Sunday!

And don’t forget- we’ll also have a Pop-Up Farmers Market on Sunday, Nov 22, the weekend before Thanksgiving! 🦃🍂

🌿 Join us Sunday, September 13 from 10am–12pm back at Oliver Street Park for another Habitat Restoration Volunteer Day.
We've erradicated almost all of the highly invasive Japanese knotweed in this park and plan to re-plant the area with native plants in the spring.
